The Meaning of Life: living on purpose

Good day Good People!

Just like the rainbow... A miracle... A natural wonder... So are You! There will never be another rainbow like the one you have seen. Just as it has its moment in time... To be seen by those who witness its life... Are moved by its impact... Inspired by by its presence... So it is with your life!

As a child you begin life by testing your boundaries, you learn by doing, you watch the actions of others, you seek love and support, are co-dependent while exerting independence... life is new to you.

As a teen... You're testing your boundaries, you learn by doing, you watch the actions of others, you seek love and support, are co-dependent while exerting independence... Your life is taking shape.

As an adult... You test your boundaries, you learn by doing, you watch the actions of others, you seek love and support, are co-dependent while exerting independence... Your life is ahead of you.

As an Older Adult (middle adulthood)... You accept your boundaries, you accept what you have learned and done, you watched the actions of others, you give love and support, are independent... Your life is the best of you.

As an Elder you prepare your loved one by sharing the boundaries you learned, by praying about the actions of others, you give love and support, are independent while exerting co-dependence... Your life is the legacy of you.

INTENTION of Action

Amazingly many of us don't realize that we are living our lives "on purpose" until we 'season' and mature into middle adulthood. It is here at nearly the age of 50 when we recognize that the glass (whether half full or half empty) has been illuminated. Then we realize that we are the one who is responsible for the condition of its contents... Its truly OUR glass to empty and/or refill!

At every major crossroad in our lives we have been the one making the decision (filling and emptying our glass). Whether from a space of wisdom or ignorance; lack or plenty; those choices (good, bad, right, or wrong) were indeed ours. When we acknowledge this fact and awaken to living on 'purpose', with conscious awareness and intention understanding the impact of our thoughts, words, and deeds, we LIVE on purpose!

SOLUTIONS for Consideration

Boundaries are established and practiced BY adults. Physical years may give us this label (adult) but our actions demonstrate whether we have reached this status of living as an adult. Because many of us have not fully matured into adulthood in ALL areas of our lives we look to others (almost subconsciously) for a proper example.

The tendencies of childhood or immaturity often rises up when challenges are presented (to show us where we need to grow).   Some signs (or symptoms) that we have not reached the maturity of adulthood in aspects of our lives are avoidance, selfishness, tantrums, shutting down to listening, wanting your way, irritation by others, blaming others, negative gestures and body language, quitting when you don't get your way to name a few. Living on purpose requires self-reflection and growth.

How you live is reflected in how OTHERS see you. We are social beings. Throughout our lives we look to others but they are also looking to YOU. From your immediate circle to the stranger how you demonstrate your character defines your independence and/or co-dependence.

By LIVING on purpose evidence and activities of growth and change are present in your life. Your practiced beliefs set your boundaries. Your circle of friends confirm your character. Your choices establish your co-dependency. And what and how you live your life is your rainbow.
